Callie contacted me about getting photos of her baby boy done as soon as possible since he was already 6 weeks and changing so fast – you know how newborns do that. She wanted bright, light-filled photos, and so we went to one of my favorite studios, Life + Style in Draper. 

This is the third session I’ve done for the beautiful Aguilar family, and I absolutely love photographing them. I think if Lydia lived in my neighborhood I would make it my mission to become her friend – she is so easy to talk to, kind, and funny, not to mention absolutely gorgeous. And her children are adorable. This was a session to get some photos for her son, Kau’e’s, baptism in December. 

I loved meeting James and Brenna and their sweet just-turned-1-year-old June up Provo Canyon near Sundance for this quick little fall mini family photo session. You may recognize James from “Studio C,” the BYU TV comedy show. He’s pretty famous and pretty funny, but then you meet Brenna and realize she’s just as hilarious and oh so wonderful and warm and friendly. Also, she's a great writer - I stalk her blog. We had a great time playing in the leaves and convincing thoughtful, contemplative June to smile for us :) 

I absolutely loved this studio lifestyle newborn session I did with the adorable Tingey Family a couple weeks ago. The Life + Style Studio in Draper, Utah has great natural light, especially in the morning, and the beautiful white walls with different textures and large windows make shooting from any angle easy. I hope this family will treasure the sweet, intimate portraits we made together!

We had originally planned to do this fall family photo session at Jolley’s Ranch in Hobblecreek Canyon, but a week before, a huge fire broke out nearby and the Glenn family had to evacuate from their home in Covered Bridge to stay with family in Salt Lake! When I called Kelsey to see if we needed to reschedule, she said they still wanted to do them, so we ended up taking some beautiful family photos at Jordan Pines in Big Cottonwood Canyon, instead, and it did not disappoint!
