Sangster Family | Lifestyle Newborn Session at Life + Style Studio in Draper, UT

Callie contacted me about getting photos of her baby boy done as soon as possible since he was already 6 weeks and changing so fast – you know how newborns do that. She wanted bright, light-filled photos, and so we went to one of my favorite studios, Life + Style in Draper. 

We had the best time playing with baby Henry, snuggling him, tickling him, and having daddy rock and sing (chant?) to him ;) I’m used to photographing newborns, which I absolutely love, but they do come with flaky skin and baby acne. Henry, on the other hand, at 6 weeks, had the most beautiful, even skin tone and fun expressions.

We worked so hard to get a good smile out of him and we almost succeeded! He was quite the serious little guy, but he responded well to his dad’s fun sounds. In between photos, I got to know Callie and Jake a bit. Callie is a nurse and Jake works in healthcare. Jake’s current project involves bringing telecare to remote areas, connecting patients and rural doctors with renowned physicians in far away hospitals – isn’t that amazing?!

I absolutely loved this studio lifestyle newborn session with Jake, Callie, and little Henry, and I hope I get to see them again! Callie knows a bit about photography, and I enjoyed chatting with her about it a bit. They make such a sweet, loving family, and it really shined through in their photos and during our time together!
