I absolutely loved taking Alexa and Garrett’s bridals and wedding day photos last August. We did the bridals at American Fork amphitheater, and their beautiful ceremony took place at Wasatch Wing & Clay in Eagle Mountain, Utah.

Alex and Sharra were married in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on May 19, 2018. It was the perfect day for a wedding! Beautiful blue skies and warm weather, but not too warm. By the time I had photographed their engagements at Jordan Pines and their surprise-filled bridals at Thanksgiving Point, I felt like we had all become close friends. Their special day was filled with friends and family who had traveled far to be with them, and their intimate reception in Provo afterwards was the perfect opportunity to watch them interact so sweetly with their loved ones. My favorite part of the day – after them coming out as husband and wife – was the small session we fit in with Sharra and all 3 of her sisters in their wedding gowns! (Read on to see pictures!)
Now booking mini sessions for Fall & Winter 2018!
I love doing these sessions! In the fall, the colors are beautiful, and I love capturing winter pictures for your Christmas cards! These mini sessions are just the right length for little ones' attention spans, and you can get your family pictures updated and sent out before the chaos of the holiday season begins! I'm doing more this year than ever before because demand the last 2 years has just grown so much. If you're a senior, engaged couple, or individual family, contact me here to book your spot - they fill up quickly! Sharra and Alex had the most beautiful bridal session in late April at the gardens at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah. It was a big change from the snowy engagements we did earlier in the year at Jordan Pines in Big Cottonwood Canyon, but just as magical. The tulip festival was going on, so there were flowers everywhere, and all the trees were in full bloom, as well! To top it all off, Sharra had the sweetest surprise for Alex at the end of the session - a gift from her father, who recently passed away, for Alex - scroll down to see it!
I had so much fun taking Madi & Tony's engagement photos. They drove all the way from Ogden to have photos taken at Tibble Fork, but their GPS took them the wrong way, and they got stuck in the snow (!) so we ended up meeting in the middle at Sundance Resort. We laughed through the entire session. Tony is hilarious and kept us smiling. They met when they were coworkers, but never dated until they saw each other again at a mutual friend's wedding. Tony said, "I thought she looked stunning and we spent the wedding hanging out with each other and just had to ask her out but got really nervous and eventually did it over Facebook....laaaame!" Lame or not, it worked, and I loved seeing their love for each other and how sweet they were together!
Madi and Tony decided to do their bridal session at the Utah State Capitol building in Salt Lake City since we nearly froze to death during their engagement photos up Provo Canyon in December. It was the perfect setting for Madi's elegant, lace-covered wedding gown. The grey and white marble created such a beautiful background for their couple photos. We started off with their first look outside, and Tony's reaction was priceless!
