Back in July, I was able to get together with some fellow professional photographers and other creatives and participate in a styled shoot up in wonderful Heber, Utah. This beautiful model is fellow photographer Erin Thunell, with her equally photogenic husband. We had a blast trying new things, shooting around each other’s cameras, and networking.

Jamie and I first met back in February of this year. She had a wedding she needed a second shooter for, and I was lucky enough to be chosen to work with her. Since then, we’ve had a few more chances to work together, and it’s been so great to work such a talented photographer. So…it was a huge compliment when she asked me to take her family photos. We took these up Provo Canyon above Sundance, along the Alpine Loop, and it was the perfect backdrop for their beautiful family.
LaSharra and Alex and I drove up Big Cottonwood Canyon together on a freeeeezing cold day to take these absolutely magical engagement photos at Jordan Pines campground. I loved the bright blue pop of Sharra's coat against the bright white snow, and we got the most beautiful glow from the alpine sunset behind the evergreens!
