However, let me pause you for a moment to tell you why the engagement session deserves some care and attention...and not just because these are the photos that will most likely be on your save-the-date, announcements, and, of course, social media!
Your engagement photo session is a great way for you and I to get comfortable with one another prior to your big day. We talk, and laugh, and I get to see how you interact as a couple. We get everything from more formal, posed, looking-at-the-camera shots to those fun, candid, casual photos. For many of my clients, this is their first professional photo shoot, so it's a great opportunity for you to get used to being in front of a camera. I also promise that I do my absolute best to make you look nothing short of amazing! (Pro Tip: Most hair/makeup artists do a free or discounted trial before the wedding day. The engagement or bridal session is a great opportunity to get your hair/makeup trial done and see if you like it, plus look amazing for photos!).
