Baptism Session at Payson Utah LDS Temple

This is the third session I’ve done for the beautiful Aguilar family, and I absolutely love photographing them. I think if Lydia lived in my neighborhood I would make it my mission to become her friend – she is so easy to talk to, kind, and funny, not to mention absolutely gorgeous. And her children are adorable. This was a session to get some photos for her son, Kau’e’s, baptism in December. 

We wanted green and flowers and color for his baptism photos, so I suggested taking them early, while the grounds of the Payson Utah LDS Temple were still beautiful. I’m so glad we did! We had to reschedule once because of the huge Pole Canyon Fire nearby, but the day we took photos, we had clear skies and the most beautiful light and pretty flowers and greenery everywhere.

I loved being able to focus on Kau’e for this session. He is an expert on U.S. presidents, and I learned so much from him in between smiles. I even quizzed him about a few facts and he got nearly all of them right. And he’s 7!!! Put that kid on the Ellen Show ;)

We threw the girls in for a few pictures, and it may have been pure chaos, but we got a few great ones. Thanks again, Aguilar family! You have the sweetest little family, and I have so loved watching them grow!
