The Most Beautiful Extended Family Photos in Utah | Golden Light at Guardsman Pass

Are you ready to see the most beautiful extended family photos ever taken?! I'm convinced this session I did with 3 generations of the Rees family are where it's at! We met at the back of Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah to capture this large group of amazing people, ranging in age from 3 up into the 60s. We spent the evening with the most beautiful light, among the wildflowers and towering green aspens, and we came away with portraits that will last a lifetime!

This multi-generation family looked so great in their outfits - they chose neutrals and blue - and it popped against all the green of the Utah mountains. The kids were so well behaved and the adults made it fun for everyone - it always helps with everyone comes with a good attitude so we can find joy even amid all the chaos! This location at the back of Big Cottonwood Canyon, near Empire Pass and Guardsman Pass, is one of my favorites because it always has beautiful light!
