STEPHANIE & NICK | DRAPER LDS TEMPLE WEDDING

Stephanie and Nick were married in the Draper LDS Temple in June. It was the perfect day – just a little warm, with a nice breeze (seriously, when is that temple ever not windy?) and clouds scattered here and there to give us a little shade. Nick and Stephanie were so laid back and everything was simple, but perfect. I loved capturing their special day!

The couple met through Nick’s cousin (who Stephanie lived with for a few weeks). “We'd all visit and got along super well. Nick chased me one day out the back door after church, and that's when I kinda new there was more interest,” Stephanie said. Later into their friendship, they discovered they shared many big life experiences - missions, previous marriages, and childhoods playing in the woods. “So much just fit together everything's been so natural,” they said.

Nick proposed to Stephanie ON TOP OF ANGEL’S LANDING IN ZION NATIONAL PARK! They are such a fun, happy, adventurous couple, and it made photographing them so easy. The day of the wedding, Stephanie wore a beautiful, simple, white, scoop-neck dress, covered in lace. Nick looked dapper in his tailored blue-gray suit. You could just tell from the way their friends and family greeted them as they exited that they are so loved. Everyone was running in for hugs and laughing and talking. We got through family photos quickly so we could spend time getting bridals of just Stephanie and Nick after.

The wedding day was the first time I actually met Stephanie and Nick in person, so I really loved being able to steal them away for a bit to do photos of just the happy couple.  Nick was a great help, getting laughs out of his new bride, and we even got some fun, goofy pictures, as requested by them both.

Stephanie and Nick, no one deserves this perfect day more than the two of you. I am so beyond happy that I got to be there to witness the beginning of your next big adventure. Thank you for being so great. I hope this new adventure together gets better each and every day. Your joy is contagious and I absolutely loved being surrounded by it on your wedding day.
