Extended Family Photos Near Utah Lake Trail

It was such a pleasure photographing the Wood's extended family. We had to change locations last minute because the first spot we showed up to was swarming with literally millions of flying insects (after we'd already waited for the rain to pass for almost an hour)! The Woods were troopers and luckily I knew of this great trail that runs along Utah Lake with beautiful views of the mountains in both directions.

The Utah Lake Parkway Trail is close to Saratoga Springs, American Fork, Orem, Eagle Mountain, and Lehi and has beautiful evening light. The trail runs under a tunnel of trees that is great for framing extended families, smaller families, couples, or any number of people. And just a step off the path provides a variation in backdrop with tall reeds and Utah mountains!
