When Ethan’s mom contacted me about taking senior portraits of her son, she mentioned that he could be a little stiff in front of the camera. I laughed it off and told her that was pretty typical and not to worry. And, boy, was I right – we didn’t need to worry, because during my session with Ethan, which we held at Utah Valley University in Orem, he posed like a pro and made my job a breeze. We had so much fun taking some casual photos in the central courtyard of the university and then Ethan changed into more professional attire for the second half of the session. He was so fun and easy to work with, and worked with me on every pose, from, “Smile,” to “Now give me your best smolder.” Haha. I mean, at one point, I asked him to give me a different pose of his choice every 3 seconds for a bit, and he totally did it! We came away with some great senior portraits, and I told him he could use them for his business headshots when he rules the world in the next 10 years. That got a smile out of him.
He’s enlisted with the National Guard, and I have to say, they are getting one classy guy from the class of 2017!
